Your child will be coming to the library every fourth school day to check out books, enjoy good literature and media, and become acquainted with the workings of a library. In order to make good use of the materials that are available and to encourage a sense of personal responsibility, the following procedures and policies are offered:
Books are due on the next class visit (in four days). Renewals are welcome, but the book must be returned in order to be renewed.
If a book is not returned, your child loses library borrowing privileges until it is returned.
If a book is lost, a replacement fee will be charged.
Good library behavior is expected. If your child does not follow library or school rules of conduct, library borrowing privileges will be withheld.
Please talk with your child about these library policies and consequences. We look forward to a great year of recreational and research reading and getting to know your child.
Below are links to documents that explain our library materials selection policy. If you have questions about it, please contact Mrs. Moore.
