Girls on the Run 5K
These girls braved the heat and humidity to complete a 5K for Girls on the Run on Saturday, May 9. Supported by teachers: Julia Sheridan, Laura Summersett (Advisors) Carrie Mulert, Brittany Barron, and Kari Kirchner
An Award Winning PTA!
Mary Todd PTA president, Rachquel Birdsong, accepted an award for Increased Membership Growth on behalf of our MTE PTA at the 16th district PTA Luncheon at Fazig- Tipton on May 6. Congrats to our award winning PTA!
Patti Cooksey Visits Mary Todd
Former Jockey, Patti Cooksey, visited the students of Mary Todd to teach them the ins and outs of horse racing. Thank you to Ms. Dellinger for arranging this event!
Mary Todd Family Nights

Mary Todd Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to Donya Nikouharf and Spenceria Davis for winning college scholarships from One Community One Voice, an organization that awards Academic Team kids for academic achievement. These girls proved that they could rise to the top against other 5th grade academic team kids in Fayette County.
Donya won the 5th grade math/science competition while Spenceria won the 5th grade writing competition. Donya's scholarship gives her $5,000 each year to the University of Kentucky for four years, a total of $20,000! Spenceria is receiving a $3,000 scholarship to Kentucky State University for four years, which gives her a total of $12,000! Great job to these girls for representing our academic team and school! They are photographed with Academic Team Coordinator, Ms. Barron.
Lego Robotics Winners
Congrats to Quinn Brown and Moira Nagle who won 1st Place in the elementary division of the Regional RCX Lego Robotics Competition. They will represent Mary Todd at the state competition. Way to go!
Student Wins Art Contest
5th grade student, Donya Nikouharf Motlagh, competed in the God's Pantry Box Decorating Contest and won 1st Place for the District. The prize was $250! Congrats Donya! She is pictured below with art teacher, Brittany Barron.
